Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what data Sea Project collects and how we use it.

1. Account data

When you sign up we collect your name/company, email address, optional phone number, and a securely hashed password. We use this to operate your account and contact you about the service.

2. Connected mailbox

If you connect Gmail (or SMTP), we access your mailbox only to send outreach you approve and to read replies to those threads, so we can surface responses to you. We do not sell mailbox content and we do not read unrelated mail. You can disconnect at any time to revoke access.

3. Maritime & contact data

Sea Project processes public maritime registry data and business contact information (such as company procurement mailboxes) obtained from public sources and third-party providers, for the purpose of B2B outreach. If you are a data subject and wish to be removed, email us and we will suppress your details.

4. Cookies

We use a strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you logged in and a preference cookie for theme. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the sub-processors needed to run the service (e.g. hosting, email delivery, contact-enrichment providers) and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Retention & your rights

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us.
